11/03/2023 Football Gossip & News

In the world of football, transfer rumours continue to make headlines. Tottenham’s Richarlison, PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, and Benfica’s Gonçalo Ramos have been named as potential replacements for Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema, who is nearing the end of his career at 35 years old. Mbappe himself has expressed regret for renewing his contract with PSG and has reportedly reached out to Real Madrid, but the Spanish giants are hoping to sign him on a free transfer in 2024.

Meanwhile, Tottenham’s Harry Kane is reportedly Manchester United’s prime target for the summer transfer window. However, Tottenham is working hard to keep their star striker by including him in key decisions for the club’s future and hoping to persuade him to extend his contract beyond 2024.

Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino has offered himself to Barcelona, and Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan is said to be the “most viable option” for Barcelona to strengthen their midfield this summer. Meanwhile, former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been linked to Tottenham but reportedly won’t consider the job unless they achieve Champions League qualification.

Inter Milan is considering reappointing Antonio Conte as coach, potentially replacing Simone Inzaghi, while Conte himself could leave Tottenham at the end of the season to replace Jose Mourinho as Roma coach. PSG is said to have a transfer budget of just 80 million euros this summer and will likely need to sell either Neymar or Messi to free up funds for new signings.

Brentford is determined to keep hold of their goalkeeper David Raya, while Nottingham Forest could make a significant signing spree if they avoid relegation from the Premier League, with a budget of over £100m.

Finally, the Glazer family, who owns Manchester United, could potentially sell the club before the transfer window opens in June if they decide to cash in on the team. In other news, Herve Renard, the current head coach of the Saudi Arabia national team, could be appointed as the manager of the France women’s team.
