- Aston Villa has struck a £35m agreement to bring in Pau Torres, a 26-year-old Spanish defender from Villarreal.
- West Ham is awaiting a satisfactory payment plan from Arsenal for the £105m acquisition of Declan Rice, a 24-year-old English midfielder.
- Chelsea is working towards a deal with Brighton for the transfer of Moises Caicedo, a 21-year-old Ecuadorian midfielder, who has already settled personal terms.
- Lucas Hernandez, a 27-year-old French defender from Bayern Munich, is close to finalizing a move to Paris St-Germain.
- Chelsea has identified Gabri Veiga, a 21-year-old Spanish midfielder from Celta Vigo, as the perfect replacement for Mason Mount, who is heading to Manchester United.
- Aston Villa is contemplating a loan deal for Ferran Torres, a 23-year-old Spanish winger from Barcelona, with a buy option of 25m euros (£21.5m).
- Ruben Loftus-Cheek, a former England midfielder, is in Italy to seal a permanent transfer from Chelsea to AC Milan.
- Romelu Lukaku, a Belgian striker from Chelsea, has turned down a second offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, as he is only interested in moving to Inter Milan.
- Tottenham’s Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is being targeted by Atletico Madrid, and Spurs are willing to let the 27-year-old Denmark international go.

- Sheffield United’s England Under-20 forward Daniel Jebbison, 19, is attracting interest from Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen.
- Both Manchester United and Chelsea are showing interest in Emiliano Martinez, a 30-year-old Argentine goalkeeper from Aston Villa.
- Erik ten Hag, Manchester United’s manager, has prevented English goalkeeper Tom Heaton, 37, from transferring to Luton Town, due to ongoing uncertainty over the future of Spanish keeper David de Gea, 32.
- Wilfried Zaha will become a free agent on Friday, but the 30-year-old Ivory Coast forward is still in talks with Crystal Palace and could agree to a new contract.
- West Ham is showing interest in Nuno Tavares, a 23-year-old Portuguese left-back from Arsenal.
- Arsenal has managed to secure the future of English midfielder Ethan Nwaneri, 16, despite interest from Chelsea and Manchester City.
- Roberto Firmino, a 31-year-old forward from Brazil, has agreed to join Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli after his contract with Liverpool expired.

- Daniel Farke is close to becoming the new Leeds United manager, with the club hoping to have the German in place for the start of pre-season training next week.
- Patrick Vieira, a former Crystal Palace manager, is the leading candidate to become the manager of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
