- Grant Hanley was forced off in the first half of Norwich’s 1-0 loss to Manchester United on Saturday and with Ben Gibson and Andrew Omobamidele both doubts, left-back Jacob Sorensen may be needed alongside Ozan Kabak in defence.
- Christos Tzolis misses out after testing positive for COVID-19, while Christoph Zimmermann and Milot Rashica are injured.
- Canaries boss Dean Smith is hopeful that Mathias Normann is fit to feature in midweek.
- Emiliano Buendia and Morgan Sanson both came off the bench at Liverpool on Saturday and may replace Ashley Young and Marvelous Nakamba in the XI, with the latter now sidelined due to a knee injury.
- Trezeguet, Danny Ings and Anwar El Ghazi are also options for Steven Gerrard.
- Steven Gerrard has confirmed reports that ‘a couple of cases on the playing side’ have tested positive for COVID 19 without naming names, but did say it represents an opportunity for others to come in, suggesting they may well be first team regulars.

- Joao Cancelo is suspended for the home side, so Kyle Walker is expected to return to the XI for the hosts.
- Ilkay Gundogan sustained a back injury in Saturday’s 1-0 win over Wolves, which should see Kevin De Bruyne start, while Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez could both be rotated into the XI.
- Ferran Torres and Liam Delap miss out here.
- Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa is without injured quartet Rodrigo, Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford and Liam Cooper for the trip to Manchester City.
- Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk will be assessed, though Tuesday’s game may come too soon for the duo.
- Joe Gelhardt netted off the bench at Chelsea and could be rewarded with a start here in the absence of Rodrigo and Bamford.
