  • Harvey Elliott scored on his return from injury in Liverpool’s 3-1 win over Cardiff in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday.
  • Thiago also made his comeback from injury in the victory while there was a debut for January signing Luis Diaz.
  • Mo Salah and Sadio Mane were involved in the AFCON final on Sunday night, which went to penalties, but the former is reportedly very keen to play on Thursday.
  • Alex Oxalde-Chamberlain and Joe Gomez will return to the matchday squad here after recovering from COVID.
  • Alisson and Fabinho will also be back after the pair returned late from international duty with Brazil last week.
  • Jordan Henderson picked up a minor back injury on Sunday but could still be involved here. Divock Origi should return from a back injury.
  • Brendan Rodgers has confirmed changes will be made following their 4-1 defeat to Championship side Nottingham Forest on Sunday.
  • Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho and Daniel Amartey are all back from the Africa Cup of Nations. Nampalys Mendy is expected to sit this one out after his involvement in Sunday’s final with Senegal.
  • Ricardo Pereira returned from a broken leg in Sunday’s shock 4-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
  • Leicester look awful defensively but it’s hard to see that changing anytime soon with Jonny Evans and Wesley Fofana still unavailable for the Foxes.

  • Chiquinho made his Wolves debut as a substitute in their surprise FA Cup exit to Norwich at the weekend.
  • Bruno Lage will hope to have Romain Saiss back from AFCON duty for Thursday’s welcome of Arsenal.
  • Adama Traore returned to Barcelona late in January so Trincao will either start in a front three or Leander Dendoncker will make it three in midfield in a 3-5-2.
  • Marcal may rotate in at left wing-back as Rayan Ait-Nouri started the defeat to Norwich over the weekend.
  • Mohamed Elneny won’t be involved after Egypt’s penalty shoot-out defeat to Senegal in the Africa Cup of Nations final on Sunday night.
  • Nicolas Pepe is back in contention but has dropped completely down the pecking order at Arsenal this season so will only make the bench.
  • Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey both return from suspension to at least give Arteta some midfield options on Thursday.
  • Cedric Soares, who may not even be fully fit himself, is on standby to start at right-back with a late decision to be made on Takehiro Tomiyasu.
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Pablo Mari, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sead Kolasinac and Folarin Balogun all left Arsenal in January to leave Mikel Arteta with a remarkably small squad.
