Bulgarian citizenship exam — complete guide

The Bulgarian citizenship exam (изпит по български език и гражданска интеграция) is required for naturalisation under Article 12 of the Bulgarian Citizenship Act. Here is exactly what to expect.

💡 Your B1 reset checklist before Day 36
Before you start Day 36, make sure you can: (1) Conjugate regular verbs in present AND aorist — both groups. (2) Form the future with ще and the negative with няма да. (3) Use боли ме / болят ме correctly. (4) Know all 11 Bulgarian national holidays with dates. (5) State all Bulgarian neighbours and the highest peak. If any of these feel shaky, revisit the relevant day before moving on.
